Skills Studio: Build Strength, Learn a Skill

Small-group training in Chalabre | 5 week course

Welcome to Skills Studio: a small, focused course for just 4 people, designed to help you build strength, confidence, and capability while learning a specific movement skill.

It blends the attention of 1:1 personal training with the connection of a small group - making high-quality coaching more accessible.

At Skills Studio, each block focuses on improving one movement. You won’t necessarily leave with it perfected — but you will know the steps to take, feel stronger, and understand the progressions that make it achievable.

Skills Studio theme for January 2025….

Your first Skills Studio block? Balance! We’ll practice both static balance and dynamic balance - balancing while moving. In the first session, you’ll set a personal goal for the 5 weeks based on your current level and work towards - and beyond - that goal.

Improving balance helps you move through everyday life with more confidence and ease, and it’s a vital foundation for building strength and improving movement capability. 

What Skills Studio is really about

It’s not just about the movement itself. In each block, you’ll:

  • Build strength and capability specific to the skill

  • Learn the progressions that make it achievable for you

  • Gain confidence in movements that once felt out of reach

  • Experience supportive, focused training in a small group

Balance, push-ups, pull ups, planks — these are just vehicles.
The goal is capability, strength, enjoyment, and progress.

How it works

📍 At mine, in Chalabre
📅 Starting Tuesday 13th January
🗓️ Every Tuesday for 5 weeks
⏱️ 9:00–9:45am
👥 Only 4 spaces
🏷️ €99 for all 5 sessions

Each session builds on the last, with clear progressions and plenty of individual attention.

You’ll also get optional tips and ideas for practising between sessions, so you can keep the momentum going and progress as fast as you want.

Is SKills Studio for you?

It’s ideal if you:

  • Want a clear, achievable path to learn a new movement or skill

  • Feel stuck with strength, balance, or coordination

  • Enjoy small-group learning with encouragement rather than pressure

  • Are curious and willing to show up

You don’t need to be “fit or strong enough” - just willing to explore, practise, and play.

Future skills you could learn

Here are some ideas for upcoming Skills Studio blocks:

  • Grip strength and the pull up

  • Perfecting your plank

  • Play with props: fun skills using tennis balls, ropes, or other tools

  • Jumping & landing: safely build power, agility, and bone strength

  • Get ups: Ten variations

  • Rolling & tumbling: Improve mobility, coordination, and confidence on the floor

  • Crawling variations

  • Mobility flows: Fun sequences to improve mobility & challenge coordination

Each block will focus on one skill, giving you a clear path to progress while building strength, confidence, and a sense of achievement.
